With this in mind BJP actively support its staff in any fundraising venture that promotes its values, thinking and principles.

Sebastians House - 2012

Our chosen charity for 2012 is Sebastians Action Trust. Heres a little on what they do

Sebastians House was set up in memory of a 9 year old boy who died of cancer. They run a purpose built home where they offer respite holidays and care for very ill children and their families so that they can spend some quality time together and to give the carers a bit of a break. They also offer practical help and assistance to children suffering from life-limiting or life-threatening illness.

Movember - November 2011

It's Movember, the month formerly known as November, now dedicated to growing moustaches and raising awareness and funds for men's health; specifically prostate and testicular cancer. BJPs team of Hairy Brokers are donating our top lips to the cause for 30 days in an effort to help change the face of men's health.Our Mo's will spark conversations, and no doubt generate some laughs; all in the name of raising vital awareness and funds for cancer's affecting men.

The Longest Day Golf Challenge - July 2011

The Longest Day Golf Challenge....its not for the faint hearted!!

The challenge envolved playing four rounds ofgolf in one day, walking close to 20 miles and hitting the little white ball nearly 300 times. We started at 5:15am right up until 9pm when it gets dark.

All donations have gone to Macmillan who is our chosen charity this year.

Mcmillan Cancer Support - 2011

This year we have chosen to raise money forMcMillan Cancer Support, which I think you will agree is a very good cause.

I'm sure you are all probably aware of McMillan but just to remind you, Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. They provide practical, medical, emotional and financial support and push for better cancer care. One in three of us will get cancer,Two million of us are living with it, so cancer will probably effect us all, in one way or another during our lifetime.

Coast 2 Coast Cycle Ride - 2010

5 members of BJP Insurance Brokers have taken on the gruelling Coast to Coast bike ride challenge. Cycling the 140 or so miles from Whitehaven to Sunderland to raise money for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance!

The Three Peaks Challenge - 2009

Several members of the BJP team took part in the Three Peaks Challenge.
